Anonymous on Unfair Termination

“I was fired while on medical leave. I had pancreatic surgery, they said the policy changed while I was on medical leave; that I had to have worked 1,250 hours to keep my job, yet another associate had 400 hundred hours, is on medical leave and still has her job. She is white, I am Hispanic and I am the only one that got axe.  I then found out that two assistant mangers pushed up the firing for me. I don’t know why. I have never been coached or written up in the three years that I have worked there, yet they employ a drunk and some employees that have been written up, coached and are always late. They have kept their jobs. Whats wrong with this picture? The store has not had a store manger for over a month and these two assistant managers are doing what ever they want. They have gotten away with so much.”
